The members of the floater-magnetic level switch, remote level indicator and level gauge family, manufactured by OMUV, can be applied for liquid level sensing, switching, remote indication and measurement in oil and gas industry, water management, pharmaceutical, food and chemical industry, in explosive environment from -60°C.
The instruments are primarily made with EEx (pressure-proof) housing which is certified by BKI ATEX. The OMUV 05 can be mounted with flanges (or threaded) onto the top of the tank. As the liqud level changes, the magnetic floater moves along the steel (WNr. 1.4301) probe tube welded into the flange. The sensors built into the probe tube provide receivable signals, generated by the magnetic field, on the wiring terminals in the aluminum switching case. These can be switching signals or signals proportional with the level in the tank.
In different instrument types, the indication task is determined by the sensors:
- level switch: its sensors are magnetic switches, reed relais
- level transmitter: probe built from reed relais and resistors with 4..20 or resistance output signal
- remote level indicator with display: built from reeds and resistors with 4..20 or resistance output, with local display
- level meter: its sensor is a magnetostrictive wire with 4..20mA signal, 1mm accuracy

Simple construction level switch, for several industrial applications. This instrument can be mounted on the side of tanks with standard flange joint or thread. When used for level switching, the floater following the liquid level actuates a microswitch through a magnetic coupling.
EEx d (pressure proof) design can be used in explosive areas from -50°C.

By-pass level gauge and switch for oil industry, food industry and chemical industry. It can be mounted on the side of the tanks with two standard flanges. In the by-pass body, the floater following the liquid level changes moves the leafs. It can be operated without auxiliary power. The level gauge can be read from long distance. The sensors of OMUV 05 type instruments can also be built into this level gauge, thus the instrument can be used for level switching, exact level measurement with resolutions of 5-10-25 mm, and remote level indication. The gauge body made of stainless steel (no danger for glass breaking). Polypropylen body if needed for strong acids (HCl),
The level indicator works from -60° up to +180°C ambient temperature.
The sensors of OMUV 05 type instruments can also be built into this level gauge, thus the instrument can be used for level switching, exact level measurement with resolutions of 5-10-25 mm, and remote level indication (two-in-one solution). Choosing the right sensors:
- level switch: its sensors are magnetic switches, reed relais.
- level transmitter: built from reed relais and resistors with 4..20 or resistance output signal
The OMUV 09 level indicator with OMUV 05 transmitter - or switch - is pressure proof design (EEx d) for explosive areas.

The indication is realized by a draught blade placed into the flowing material of the horizontal pipeline, transmitted to the microswitch by a magnetic coupling. Due to the applied acid-proof materials, it can practically be used to any medium.
It is suggested to installing before pumps to avoid their breakdown. Outdoor operation, working temperature -50° - +205°C.
In explosive environment choose our OMUV 24 flowswitch.

The members of OMUV 24 draught blade flow switch family can be applied for oil and gas industries, water management, pharmaceutical, food and chemical industries, in the Zone 1 rated areas of mining industry, where the measurement of flowing materials are necessary in explosion-prone environments. The indication is realized by a draught blade placed into the flowing material of the horizontal pipeline, transmitted to the microswitch by a magnetic coupling. Due to the applied acid-proof materials, it can practically be used to any medium.
It is suggested to installing before pumps to avoid their breakdown. EEx d pressure proof design, for working temperature of -50° - +90°C, even for outdoor applications.

The members of the OMUV 91 service box family, manufactured by OMUV Hungary, can be applied for wire connections in oil and gas industries, water management, pharmaceutical, food and chemical industries, as well as in Zone 1 rated areas of the mining industry, in explosive environments.
The service boxes have EEx d (pressure-proof housing) protection rating, proven by the BKI compliance certificate. Multiwire cables can be lead into the service box and a water and dust-resistant way using HF-Td Ex d type cable gland. The casing can be used the leading in up to 3 bunches of cable. In this case, the safe cable leading is provided by 3 cable glands. If not all cable inlets are used, dummy couplings are applied. The basic configuration contains 10 Weidmüller or 12 Wieland type wiring terminals.

Az egyszerű, jól bevált úszómágneses működési elv, az ATEX, CE és GOST-R engedélyek mindenhol elfogadottá tették az OMÜV márkát.
